Fiber optic splitters allow to divide input optic power into splitter's exits. Standard version has 1x2 configuration but other versions are also available (1x3, 1x4, etc). The most common divisions for configuration 1x2 are following: 50/50, 60/40, 70/30, 80/20, 90/10. Splitters are available in different forms (pipe, patchcord Y, LGX), they might be with or without connectors.
